American in Rome

Over Easter we had two days (in which we joined the masses of other loud American tourists) to experience Rome. With a lot of luck we were in St. Peter’s square when the new pope gave his Easter address and of course we saw most of the other touristy things. I’m sure you’re aware Rome was/is kind of a big deal.

Anyways, I wanted to share that Romans are not so fond of tourists. And they don’t make way for pushy blonde girls. So it’s not entirely my fault that I gently shoved a leggy Italian chick out of my way while trying to order my mortadella panini. I’m sorry too that you chose to wear black heels and had less balance than my sneakers.
