Sam and I (along with 7 other friends) are sailing through the Greek islands on a chartered catamaran for one week. Picture lazy days sun bathing on the upper deck, slicing through deep blue seas, discovering hidden beaches, and touring islands on scooters. Our captain is a seasoned Greek sailor with a raspy voice like the godfather. He whispered boat commands to the boys and farted the entire first day. Our second day at sea was an 8 hour trip to the island of Kithnos. We slept in and woke up to an additional 6 hours of seasickness. At one point two men were heaving over the side and hurling insults at Poseidon.
Land never felt so good.
